What: 2015 Peony & Bamboo Festival
Where: 6000 16th Ave SW, South Seattle College, North entrance.
When: Saturday & Sunday, April 25-26, 10 am to 4 pm
Why: Luoyang Tree Peony Display Garden has more than 400 plants and close to 30 varieties. Sale of potted tree peonies from Luoyang and bamboo from specialty growers from Washington and Oregon. Talks and demonstrations on plant care and other topics. Chinese artist demonstrations, art and craft sales. Garden books and Chinese flora and fauna books for sale. Lion dance Saturday at 11 am, plus other cultural entertainment.
Activities for children AND Chinese food booths.
