A few photos from the October 3rd Work Party. A small but mighty group cleared trash and filled at least a dozen yard waste bags. Thanks to everyone who participated!
What: Free compost, limited to one half yard per person
Where: Beacon Food Forest, 15 Ave S & S Dakota Street,
When: Today, October 17th, 10 am - 2 pm.
Who: Beacon Hill Food Forest, Seattle Public Utilities and Green Blenz.
Why: As a thank you to the community for composting, don't let a good thing go to waste.
How: Bring your own shovel and container. Now is a great time to put a few inches of compost on your beds, especially if you are establishing new plants this fall.
