What: Free compost, limited to one half yard per person
Where: Beacon Food Forest, 15 Ave S & S Dakota Street, When: Today, October 17th, 10 am - 2 pm. Who: Beacon Hill Food Forest, Seattle Public Utilities and Green Blenz. Why: As a thank you to the community for composting, don't let a good thing go to waste. How: Bring your own shovel and container. Now is a great time to put a few inches of compost on your beds, especially if you are establishing new plants this fall. |
