Seed Library

After a summer of successful Garden Shares, it was plain to see that there was a need for an ongoing space to our neighbors to have access to free seeds and gardening information. A plan was formulated to build a Little Free Seed Library.  The materials and craftsmanship to build the structure were donated by Bill McKee and Maria Batayola. The structure itself was painted by Ashlee Staub, of Rainbow Pirate Crafts. Located on the corner 16th Ave South and South Lander St., just outside The Station Coffee Shop who is graciously hosting the space for the library. And to the many of friends and neighbors who have donated money and materials to keep this stocked. Thank you to all for your contributions!

The little free seed library was launched in November 2020 to provide a year round gardening resource for our neighborhood. It is constantly being restocked by donated books, seeds, tools and pots. You are invited to check it out next time you are grabbing a coffee!
