We are in full swing gearing up for this year's Pear-a-dise on August 13th, from 1-5 pm. The Beacon Hill Garden Club in partnership with Beacon Arts will be celebrating the pear harvest in the 100-year old pear orchard at Garden House. This event starts several weeks beforehand with volunteers gleaning fallen pears from the Garden House lawn. They turn those into yummy treats to share at the event including pear sorbet and salsas. It culminates by inviting our neighbors in to pick pears, share recipes, and learn more about gardening. It's family fun for all ages!
Check out the photos from last year.
